I extend a very warm welcome to all participants, supporters, friends and family to The Bermuda Tattoo 2015!

The Bermuda Tattoo is the Signature Event of the Royal Bermuda Regiment's 50th Anniversary (BR50) celebrations. The BR50 celebrations to date have been tremendous and I am thankful to my fellow BR50 Committee members for their commitment and excellence over the last 2 years. It has been an honour to serve as Chair and a privilege to serve alongside the dedicated men and women of the newly-titled Royal Bermuda Regiment.

2015 is also the 40th Anniversary of the National Museum of Bermuda (formerly the Bermuda Maritime Museum) and we are excited to once again be staging the Tattoo in the historic Keep Yard, through the generosity of the Trustees, Executive Director and Staff.

We are very pleased that overseas participants from around the world have chosen to join us in our celebrations. I thank Maj Dwight Robinson and Mrs Conchita Ming for assembling an exceptional cast for this year's Bermuda Tattoo.  The international groups were specially selected not only for their musical and performing excellence, but because many have long-established relationships with the Regiment and Bermuda.

Joining the Royal Bermuda Regiment Band and Corps of Drums are our long-time friends in the Bermuda Islands Pipe Band, celebrating 60 years, and, under the direction of Mr Lloyd Matthew, The Bermuda Tattoo Choir will debut.

Both the international and local participants in the Bermuda Tattoo underscore the theme of the BR50 celebrations—Reunion. To be certain, this year's show will be without equal and will present the most diverse group of participants on the same ticket. You will be delighted, awed and inspired!

The Bermuda Tattoo is only possible with the widespread support across the island and beyond.  The Tattoo has been organised by the volunteer BR50 Committee and the Bermuda Regiment. It is staged under the auspices of the Bermuda Regiment Charitable Trust who serve as presenting sponsors together with the Government of Bermuda and Bank of Bermuda Foundation.

We are further grateful to our Corporate Sponsors, Private Patrons and the public at large.  Your continued support the Royal Bermuda Regiment and the Charitable Trust is sincerely appreciated.

Finally, I thank my family, friends and my colleagues at KPMG for their unwavering support.

Again, thank you everyone and enjoy the show!
